Favorite Holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter

Favorite Holiday Traditions: At Thanksgiving, we usually cook the usual turkey dinner and we watch some Thanksgiving shows on tv and The Macy's Parade when I can get my Mom to put the TV on it. We generally just sit back, eat, and relax and enjoy all the many blessings God has given us. We take the time to be grateful for all our blessings and not just at Thanksgiving, but, all year round. :) At Christmas, I begin decorating the day after Thanksgiving and work little by little to get all our decorations up. That is one of my most favorite parts of Christmas. For the most part, beginning the day after Thanksgiving, we will hardly watch anything that's not a holiday show. We have a whole box full of Christmas TV shows and movies and even cartoons. :) Then on Christmas Eve, we have a snack dinner consisting of tortilla chips and homemade cheese dip, maybe some bean dip as well, them little cocktail sausages cooked in BBQ sauce, this cream cheese dip my great uncle told my mom how to make--it goes on Keebler Crackers. Then, we also have chocolate chip cookies, and the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Then, on Christmas Day, we open our gifts that morning and for dinner, we usually have a ham, a broccoli/rice casserole my mom makes, and yams.

But, the main thing is we try to remember all of our blessings and why we celebrate the holidays.
