NCIS: All Characters

I named this fanlisting "Unique and Special" because each and every character have their own unique and special way about them. They all compliment each other very well. When I noticed this fanlisting was up for grabs, I resisted at first and then, finally applied. And I am so glad that I did because I was so excited to be approved. I have my favorite characters on this show, but I genuinely love all these characters to pieces. I wasn't sure what to do for a layout, but with God's help, it came out so well and I'm so excited about it. :)

So, if you'll see below, you'll see a small profile for each character with their picture. I have not included Director Vance as of yet, but, Lord willing, I'll add him in the future. I really didn't like him at first, but, slowly but surely, he's winning me over. :) In the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy this about section. :)

Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs

Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs is portrayed by actor and producer, Mark Harmon. No one but no one could play Gibbs except for Mark Harmon. Gibbs is the Senior Field Agent who works over Special Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo, Special Agent Timothy "Tim" McGee, Special Agent Caitlin "Kate" Todd, and then later after Kate was gone, Mussad Liasion Officer, Ziva David. Gibbs is kind of gruff and he could even be a downright jerk sometimes. But, he also had the biggest heart out there. His team was his family there's not much he wouldn't do for them. And if anyone messed with any of his team, they had better look out because Gibbs won't stand for it. All in all, Gibbs is a very loving and caring person.

One of the things Gibbs is famous for is his coffee. I would say 90% of the time, he has a to go coffee cup in his hand. And you did not touch his coffee either. Another thing he's famous for is slaps on the backs of the heads of his team members, especially DiNozzo. For some reason, he seemed to always have it coming (poor guy :) ). Then, there was always the famous Gibbs stare. He could stare a hole right through anyone. No words are needed. If any of his team members ever tried to contradict him for whatever reason or whatnot, all he had to do was stare at them and they knew they better do what they were told or else. But, that stare was good for interrogating suspects too. But, he also had the smartest mouth. I absolutely loved his smart alecked remarks. :) Then, of course, there was Gibbs's special way of driving. Hang on!!! :)

Special Agent Caitin "Kate" Todd

Special Agent Caitlin "Kate" Todd was portrayed by actress and producer, Sasha Alexander. She was only around for two seasons as she was killed by a terrorist in the season 2 finale (as far as that goes, a lot of fanfiction writers---including me---have turned that around and wrote AU fanfiction with her still alive in the later seasons :) ). But, during her two year run, she was awesome. She was such an angel--at least to me anyway. She showed up in the first episode of the first season, called Yankee White, as a Secret Service Agent, who protected the president. But, aboard Air Force One, a Naval Commander, Commander Trapp, dies suddenly. Well, naturally NCIS is called in on it and this is where Kate meets Gibbs, DiNozzo, Ducky and later, Abby. One of the first things that happens is that Gibbs and Kate argue over who is taking over the investigation. But, they eventually agree to work together. Everyone discovers that Kate is a bit hard-headed, which to me is cool because Gibbs needed someone like her. So, at the end of that episode, Gibbs finds out that Kate submitted her resignation to the Secret Service because she had broken a rule when she dated someone she shouldn't have. So, he hires her on the spot for NCIS.

If there is one thing Kate was, she was very committed to her work. And she most always had a good come-back when DiNozzo would tease her. Boy, she could get downright mad at him at times, but she handled him very well. But, Kate was also a very loving and caring person and was always ready to help someone in need. :)

Mussad Liasion Officer Ziva David

Mussad Liasion Officer Ziva David is portrayed by actress, Cote de Pablo. Ziva showed up in the season 3 premiere on a mission to prove Ari's (her brother's) innocence that he did not kill Kate and that he wasn't after Gibbs and his team and that they were all after the wrong man. She was the one who was proven wrong and was faced with a tough decision. In the end, she ended up saving Gibbs's life when she shot Ari dead in Gibbs's basement at his home.

From there, she showed back up at NCIS as a Liasion Officer from Mussad and was assigned to Gibbs's team. Needless to say, DiNozzo, McGee, and Gibbs had a hard time with that because one, they were all still hurting so badly over Kate's passing and two, I believe they were a little leary because Ari was her brother. But, over time, they learned to accept her and as more time went on, she became such a valuable member of their team/family.

Ziva is also a very firm person. She can kick butt with the best of 'em. And she, too, would sprout horns and lam into anyone who messed with her team members. And she is so funny. She's always good for a laugh by her expressions. She sometimes gets our American idioms mixed up and it is always funny when she does. But all in all, Ziva is also a very loving and caring person. :)

Special Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo

Special Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo is portrayed by actor, Michael Weatherly. Tony is a good worker, but he could easily be dubbed the clown of NCIS. He is always clowning around and giving his teammates a hard time (except for Gibbs of course---he can be scared of Gibbs at times). But each and every one of them would usually seize the opportunity to give him a good come-back. :) And they each did so in their own clever ways. :) Tony was also definitely a ladies man.

But even for all his clowning around and teasing people, he can be serious. He is very committed to his work and he will also stand up against anyone that messes with his teammates. Behind everything we see of him, lies a very big heart. :)

Secial Agent Timothy "Tim" McGee

Special Agent Timothy "Tim" McGee is portrayed by actor, Sean Murray. McGee began as an extra who worked in Norfolk, but by the beginning of season 2, he was brought on to Gibbs's team full-time as a full-time field agent. McGee is a bit more introverted than the others and sometimes, he can be a bit naive. But, McGee is as good as gold---even when he's the brunt of DiNozzo's jokes. McGee is very committed to his work and is always ready to lend a hand to anyone that needs his help. One of his main strengths is digging for dirt on a computer. I believe that is why he gets stuck helping Abby a lot--which he doesn't mind. :)

Forensic Scientist Abby Sciuto

Forensic Scientist Abby Sciuto is portrayed by actress, director, and producer, Pauley Perrette. Abby may come across as strange to some people, but she is so cool. She definitely a different sort of person. She does like to dress in a lot of black and she loves black roses. She always has some special music playing in her lab---lots of times, very loudly---while she's working. :) And she is also someone you can definitely depend on. She's very committed to her work and she is always there if anyone needs her. She, too, will not tolerate it if anyone is messing with her teammates. :)

Director Jenny Shepard

Director Jenny Shepard was portrayed by actress, Lauren Holly. She showed up right after Kate was killed as the new Director of NCIS. Imagine Gibbs's surprise because they had had a relationship when they worked together in Paris. Despite their history, they worked well together with her as the Director. They were very professional. :)

Jenny was definitely a go-getter. She didn't let people's negative opinions of a woman Director get to her. She did her job and she did it very well. And she also spoke her mind very well and wasn't afraid of what people thought. She, too, would jump to the defense of any of her people who were not being treated right. She wouldn't put up with any kind of crud from anyone. :)

Sadly, Jenny was killed in the season 5 finale. She went after some guys to protect Gibbs and she knew full well what she was walking into. Come to find out, Jenny had been diagnosed with a nerve disease that would have eventually crippled her completely. It's not so much she went after those guys to commit suicide; she knew she had to do it to protect Gibbs, but, her getting killed that way was more merciful (as Ducky put it) because that nerve disease was wicked. :(

Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard

Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard is portrayed by actor, David McCallum. Ducky is the Medical Examiner for NCIS. He is such a sweetheart and he has a heart of gold. He always seems to have a way to make people feel better when they're feeling down. He also does his job very well and he is very thorough in his work. One cute thing that he does is he talks to the people he performs his autopsies on. Even though they are dead, he still sees them as human beings and treats them as such. But, even he will not put up with crud from anyone. :)

M. E. Assistant Jimmy Palmer

Ducky's M.E. Assistant Jimmy Palmer is portrayed by actor, Brian Dietzen. Jimmy showed up in the middle season 1 after Ducky's other assistant left. Since then, he's been a regular. Jimmy is another one of these who is a bit introverted; he's a lot like McGee in that respect. He is always looking for ways to improve his work and he is very committed to his work. He is also ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it.
