Jesse and Rebecca were portrayed by the very talented John Stamos and Lori Loughlin. They met in the second episode of the second season of
Full House. Jesse was immediately attracted to Becky, but Becky wasn't immediately attracted to Jesse. It frustrated Jesse because he wanted
to go out on a date with her so badly. Fortunately it didn't take Becky long to start falling for him as well.
In about the middle of the second season, a date auction was held in which Jesse was one of the bachelors to be auctioned off. He wasn't thrilled
about it but he went along with it because Becky sweet talked him into it as it was for a good cause. But she sprouted horns when this one
lady was about to win him and Becky bid all the way up to $1700.
From there, Jesse's and Becky's relationship grew and they fell more in love. Jesse was ready to get married within just a few months, but Becky
wasn't. They both decided to wait a while and get to know each other better.
Then in the season premiere of season 4, Jesse's grandparents from Greece came for a visit and to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
They brought two people along with them that Jesse knew as a young boy. One in particular was a girl named Elena that he had something going
on with years ago in Greece. They had supposedly walked around a table and were married, Poppadorian style. Of course, that sent Becky into
orbit. Later on Jesse finally explained things to Elena. He said there was no future for them because he was madly in love with Becky. So
as goofy as it may sound, Jesse and Elena "divorced" by walking around a table backwards. :)
After a speech by Jesse's grandfather at the anniversary party about how wonderful it was being married to his wife for 50 years, Becky was in tears
and said how beautiful that was. Jesse made the comment that that could be them in 50 years and Becky said she hoped it would be. Then Jesse
got bold and said when someone is lucky enough to find the person they want to spend the rest of their life with, his feeling was why wait. Then
Becky asked him what he was waiting for. So Jesse proceeded to get down one knee to propose. Then he reminded her of what happened in Nevada.
Becky explained that that this time, they could take their time and plan a real wedding. As he started to ask her once again, she stopped and
wanted to know if he had any other wives in any other countries and of course he said no. He then got down one knee and asked if she'd walk around
the table with him and she said yes. :) Of course he leaped for joy and announced their excitement to everyone.
So a few months later on Valentines Day, Jesse and Becky were married. Then within just a few a months, Becky found out she was pregnant. She was
a little nervous about telling Jesse, because they had talked about having a baby, but not for a couple of more years. And the fact that Jesse
was to go on tour with his band that following summer didn't help matters any. But to Becky's surprise and relief, Jesse was thrilled. After
several attempts at telling him, she finally broke down and told him with a game of Pictionary. :)
Then a few more months later, Jesse and Becky got the surprise of their lives. At one of Becky's doctor's appointments, it was discovered that
Becky was carrying twins. Becky was thrilled, but Jesse basically froze. It was almost as if he wasn't happy about having twins. He tried to make
like he was, but you could tell something bothered him. The truth behind it all, he was scared spitless. To him, it was one thing to be responsible
for one human life, but two? After talking with Becky and the rest of the family about it, he felt better and he knew with all the love and support
he and Becky had backing them up, they would be okay. Then a couple of months later, on Michelle's birthday no less, Becky gave birth to twin boys
with doped up Jesse on a gurney by her side (Jesse ended up having an appendicitis and having an appendectomy while Becky was in labor, but he made it
out of surgery in time for the birth even though he was a half a bubble off during the delivery, singing "Having My Baby"). Anywho, Jesse and Becky
ended naming their boys Nicholas and Alexander (Nicky and Alex). For the rest of season five, the boys were portrayed by Daniel and Kevin Renteria.
Then from season 6 until the show ended, the boys were portrayed by Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit.
Jesse and Becky had their ups and downs as husband and wife and also as Mom and Dad, but one thing that always kept them going was their for each other
and their family.
