Beverley Mitchell is probably best known for her role on the long running drama series, 7th Heaven, as Lucy Camden (later Lucy
Camden Kinkirk). However, Beverley started acting long before that.
Her career actually started when she threw a temper tantrum in a shopping mall. A talent agent heard her throwing her tantrum,
went over to see what the fuss was all about and one can guess what happened.
Her first television role came on a show by the name of Big Brother Jake. Later came her first role on a major film called The Crow:
City of Angels. A short time later came the biggest role of her career, Lucy Camden (later Lucy Camden Kinkirk), on the long running
drama series, 7th Heaven.
The first time I remember seeing Beverley, I was in middle school and I saw her in a movie called Baby of the Bride back in 1992. She played
the role of Jersey Becker. She was quite young at the time and she was as cute as a button. :) She starred along the well known
actress, Rue McClanahan. Little did I know that Baby of the Bride was a sequel to another movie, Children of the Bride, in which
Beverley played the same role. I ended getting to see that movie later on and Beverley was wonderful of course. Then later after
Baby of the Bride, she played in the same role in the movie, Mother of the Bride.
A long time later, I started watching 7th Heaven in reruns on PAX TV where I was living and I got a glimpse of Beverley playing
Lucy Camden. I was mesmorised by Beverley's acting. She looked vaguely familiar but I just couldn't place her. Then it came to me she
was the actress that played that adorable little girl in Baby of the Bride. I couldn't believe how she had grown.
Beverley is now a country singer who is working her way into the music biz.
